The whole memorial site that was established in 1964 consists of the former Extermination Camp, the former Penal Labour Camp, the Gravel Quarries, the Extermination Site and the so-called “Black Road”. Within the museum’s area you will find a memorial with a symbolic Jewish cemetery consisting of 17, 000 stones and the central monument, as well as the monument commemorating the victims of the Penal Labour Camp.
