 Makieta Obozu Zagłady
Na potrzeby przyszłej, nowej ekspozycji została wykonana makieta Obozu Zagłady w Treblince. Makietę Obozu Zagłady w Treblince wraz z gablotą wykonała w całości firma S-Model z Lublina. Makieta została zaprojektowana i zbudowana w skali 1:120 (3254 x 2580 mm) na podstawie materiałów i opracowań historycznych Petera Lapondera oraz mapki obozu z sierpnia 1943 roku wykonanej przez Petera Lapondera w 2004 r.

Fragment ekspozycji przedstawiający przedmioty odnalezione na terenie Obozu Zagłady. On 4 December 2006 new rooms in the office building of the Museum of Fight and Martyrdom in Treblinka were put into use. To celebrate the event many distinguished guests visited the museum. In the event participated: Tomasz Merta – Junior Minister in the Ministra of Culture and National Heritage, Andrzej Matuszewicz and Sławomir Kordaczuk – Directors of the Regional Museum in Siedlce, Bartłomiej Kurkus – Deputy Starost of the Siedlce district, Jan Romańczuk – Deputy Starost of the Sokołów Podlaki District , Jędrzej Dmowski – adviser to the Minister of Infrastucture, Krzysztof Chałubiński from the Culture, Promotion and Tourism Department in the Marshall’s Office, Izabela Bednarczyk – Head of National Heritage Department in the Marshall’s Office, Piotr Tarnowski – representative of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Stanisław Zyśk – representative of the Branch of the Marshall’s Office in Siedlce, Sławomir Hardej – Director of the Milk Co-operative in Sokołów Podlaski and others. |
